Brahmangaon (ব্রাহ্মণগাঁও) is an important village. It is in the bank on Surma river, very close to Sunamganj district town, Bangladesh. There are 5,000 people living in this village. Most of them are middle income or pore. About 65% of them are educated. 30 years age it was very important water-ways station. Now the Surma river become a narrower and water-ways become less important. Now it is an important village in Sunamganj-Ambari road. There is a primary school, two Masques and few NGO schools are working in the village. Geographical location 25*04’26” N and 91*27’15” E.

 

My forefathers came from Brahmangaon. We have many relatives and well wishers living there. Our family graveyard is in the Brahmangoan. My father, Grand Ma, Grand Father, Grand Grand farthers were buried there.
