we have a lighthouse. Where ever we go, what ever we do, we always carry some of the light from this lighthouse. The lighthouse is a man of attributes and humanity. He is honorable Abdu Miah sir.

He was graduated in Sunamganj and MC College and joined Sunamganj College as practical demonstrator teacher at Zoology. The reason we called him the lighthouse is he did not stack in the zoology rather he started teaching English and other biological sciences when there ware no physical science teachers ware available in Sunamganj. His many students are now Doctor, Engineer, Scientist, and Teacher or established in their own career. What he did is very fundamental, he is giving us some light and we found the way to success in life. For this reason students called him the lighthouse of Sunamganj. He used to organize the science festival of Sunamganj College. With his contributions Sunamganj college attended the national science festival and got many national awards. He was also a very good cricket player and a journalist for national news paper. He is also a founder of some cultural organizations. He is a honorable life member of Sunamganj public library, a honorable member of Sunamganj Press Club. He retired from Sunamganj Govt. College and opened a Kinder Garter school in Sunamganj to deliver light to the future generation. He is unmarried and over 60 years old, having trouble with some physical problem (Heart Failure and Disease). We all pray for him a healthy and peaceful life.
